A challenging park and forest course with 18 holes, along with a short course for fast and entertaining play. Located in Skorpetorp, just outside Oskarshamn, is Oskarshamn Golf Club’s award-winning full-service facility.
COMMUNITY. Ahead of the 2024 season, the club has taken further steps to improve the facility by building a new and modern clubhouse. Alongside the adjacent restaurant, it offers a perfect place for relaxation and socializing after a day on the course. The approximately 1,300 members have been ranked as the most satisfied in Sweden in the Swedish Golf Federation’s membership survey. It’s a recognition of the club’s hard work in recent years, in collaboration with the renowned course designer Pierre Fulke, a former golf professional, who has brought a new dimension of quality and challenge to the course. Additionally, club manager Hans Karlsson Johannesson has been named the 2024 Greenkeeper of the Year – competing against 500 golf clubs in the country.
Oskarshamns Golf Club is also a popular destination with 6,000 guests who pay green fees annually. Adjacent to the course, there are parking spaces with electrical outlets for motorhomes and caravans, and in collaboration with Hotel Corallen, they offer golf packages that provide a complete experience of both relaxing at the hotel and fantastic play on the golf course.
